Wellness After Breast Cancer
Breast Cancer is the most prevalent form of cancer women face today. Fortunately, awareness and early detection can increase a woman's chance of survival. Join us for a free program to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Legs for Life: PVD Screening
Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD) is caused by blocked blood flow in the arteries of the legs. It can cause pain and skin discoloration and make walking difficult.
If you are over 60 years old or over 50 years old with a history of smoking or diabetes, you are eligible to participate in a free screening sponsored by the Wellness Center at Prince William Hospital.

Blood Pressure Screenings
Prince William Hospital’s Fitness Center offers free walk-in screenings for blood pressure on the first Friday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Cholesterol Screenings
Prince William Hospital’s Fitness Center offers cholesterol screenings by appointment for $25. To make an appointment for cholesterol screening, please call (703) 369-8605.

Health Expo Week - November 3-7
Adults 18 and older are welcome to participate in a wide variety of health screenings during Health Expo Week. Participants will receive their individual measurements printed on a chart to keep track of their progress through the year. Screenings include: blood pressure, cholesterol, A1C, glucose, lung spirometry, bone density, resting metabolic rate, body fat percentage, total strength and cardiorespiratory fitness.
Buy each screening separately, or purchase all screenings with a one-week pass for $185 (a savings of $40).
