Prince William Medical Center offers comprehensive services for the evaluation and treatment of a wide range of back and spine problems. Many spinal problems can often be corrected with therapeutic techniques. However, if surgery is necessary, we offer advanced procedures to treat the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine.
Our back and spine surgeons specialize in minimally invasive spine surgery, disc replacement surgery, and reconstructive spinal surgery for patients with spinal deformities or complex injuries. In addition, our back and spine specialists have extensive experience treating patients who have had spine surgery in the past.
Prince William Medical Center is proud to be the first hospital in the Washington, DC metro area to offer Mild® for lumbar spinal stenosis – a condition characterized by a narrowing of the spinal canal, which can cause pain, numbness or tingling in the back. The Mild procedure is performed through a tiny incision and requires no general anesthesia and no stitches.
